Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. When we repent of our sins and ask God to forgive us, it is as an act of worship. God requires of us to do the same by forgiving those who are indebted to you. Unforgiveness makes us bitter, miserable and robs us of our joy.
You cannot be spiritually free when you carry unforgiveness in your heart. There is only one way to get rid of hurt and pain – “LET IT GO” and forgive. Jesus, who is innocent, was sentenced to death and a murderer set free instead.
Luke 23: 25 “He released to them the man who was thrown in prison for insurrection and murder, whom they asked for. But he sentenced Jesus according to their will.”

Forgive And Bless People

When you forgive those who hurt you, not only do you release them, you release yourself from bondage. Forgive and bless people no matter what is said or done to you. The flesh wants us to dwell on the words or the deed that hurt us so we can wallow in self-pity.
I, myself, used to have pity because of certain hurts that I simply wouldn’t let go of. It wasn’t until I prayed for help in the area of forgiveness that I got free. Forgiveness is truly liberating and adds joy to your life.
There is power in forgiveness. Jesus set the example when He forgave us on the cross of Calvary and chose to carry the weight of the sin for every human being, all the wat to the grave.
Jesus commands us to love one another as He loves us.

Always Be Ready For Forgiveness

Matthew 6: 14-15 “For if you forgive men for their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men for their sins, neither will your Father forgive your sins.”
Always be ready to forgive. Repentance and forgiveness is an act of worship.
